Vanessa Ryan

Vanessa Ryan is a Managing Director in Product Strategy at Beach Point Capital Management, focused on the firm's Opportunistic Credit strategy and broader public credit platform. Ms. Ryan has been in the industry since 2015. Prior to Beach Point, Ms. Ryan was a Managing Director and Credit Product Specialist at Oaktree Capital Management, where she led all product management activities for the firm’s multi-asset credit and liquid credit strategies. Ms. Ryan also previously worked at PAAMCO Prisma (formerly PAAMCO), where she helped manage hedge fund portfolios for institutional clients. Ms. Ryan holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Psychology with a minor in Italian from the University of Virginia, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with distinction. She also received a master's degree in Commerce with a concentration in Marketing and Management from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce. Ms. Ryan is a CAIA charterholder.
