Martin Hood

Martin Hood is a Vice President focused on private equity and special situation investing. Mr. Hood has been in the industry since 2015. Prior to Beach Point, Mr. Hood was an Associate in the private equity group at Angelo Gordon, a New York-based alternative investment manager. Before Angelo Gordon, he worked in investment banking at Lazard and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he focused on M&A, private capital, and leveraged finance transactions. Mr. Hood received a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University with a double major in Finance and Real Estate, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with Honors.
